The summer heat presents challenges and dangers for homeless people. Our Homeless Outreach team and Street Outreach team (outreach for homeless youth) encourage people to go to local shelters. However, for a variety of reasons many people will not go to a shelter.

Please think of these people as you go through your daily routine.  Right now our greatest need is financial contributions.  However, we also have some in kind item needs. Below are a few items we need to help support our Homeless Division and Residential Detoxification programs:

Mosquito Repellent
Sunscreen (not expired)
Light Weight Sleeping Bags (new or gently used)
Backpacks (new or gently used)
New Socks
New Underwear

Items can be dropped off at our Administrative Offices - 511 West 200 South in Salt Lake City, UT 84101 (Suite 160 in the southwest corner of the building).  Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.
