CCC is one of a few agencies that serve youth involved in every level of the juvenile justice system from Early Intervention (EIP) and probation, through and following incarceration, providing substance abuse and mental health treatment to help prevent further criminal activity.  CCC provides on-site services as well as services in Decker Lake and Wasatch Youth Centers and transitional services at the Intensive Community Aftercare Program (ICAP) in conjunction with the Juvenile Justice System.

For 40 years, CCC staff has worked closely with all public and private adolescent substance abuse treatment and support agencies in the community with a goal of maximizing treatment access and effectiveness. CCC is a member of the Consortium of Youth Substance Abuse Treatment Services (CYSATS), which effectively coordinates youth treatment across different agencies and helps provide access to wrap-around services including vocational training, affordable medical care and school and legal system coordination.

Cornerstone Counseling Center (CCC) provides research-based, gender specific, youth treatment designed for Salt Lake County youth between the ages of thirteen and twenty-one.  Licensed, professional therapists provide assessment services, individual, group and family treatment.  Since many adolescent substance abusing clients present with co-occurring psychiatric disorders, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, CCC’s licensed therapists also treat these disorders through mental health counseling, medication evaluation and monitoring and case management.  Levels of treatment interventions range from one to eight hours of treatment services per week and are tailored to fit the needs of the client. Services are dedicated to promoting enduring improvements in youth and their families.
